Good for young graduate starting job/career completely remote from home?

It's ok for a short time in their working life after school. Up to 2-3 yrs. would be ok provided the employer had meetings, etc.

I would not recommend it for anyone long term from a career/personal skills development standpoint.  I really think a person who is serious about people skills development in a career, needs to experience in-person work relationships in certain work situations. They have to deal with the face to face reality of difficult bosses, other colleagues and also the advantages of water cooler conversation and in-person networking, etc.

Yea, yea,...I know video meetings and video chat are not too bad.
