Forum Administrator Posted October 25, 2020 Share #1 Posted October 25, 2020 I understand the need for a maximum file size, but why is it 9.77 and not an even number like 9 or 10 mb? I'm just curious.
Square Wheels Posted October 25, 2020 Share #2 Posted October 25, 2020 This was done to help preserve the server. The max file size should be about 10MB, 9.77 sounds odd, but I buy it. This isn't a file saving site, the bigger the server gets, the more i need to pay per month.
Solution Razors Edge ★ Posted October 25, 2020 Solution Share #3 Posted October 25, 2020 I gotta go with bytes vs MBs? If you multiply 10 MB * (1,000/1024) you get 9.77 when rounded up (from 9.765625).

Really just a limit of 9,765,625 bytes.
