The bike shed is only a 10' x 10', so there isn't much floor space. I decided to make an outdoor shelter for two 20# propane tanks for the Mr. Heater Big Buddy. Decided to use scrap pallet wood I've been hoarding and other scraps from the shed build.

I got a pretty good start on day one.

Of course after I got it set up for two 20 pounders, I decided to bite the bullet and buy a 40 pounder. I was sad I had to cut out a lot of the top shelf, but... I was a turd and didn't construct the front frame outside like the back and somehow let things flair out. Had to saw that down for straight walls too. Ugh.. anyway, got that done and the walls painted and installed.

Then I cut the little triangles for up top, made the door, attached the hinges, drilled little recesses for the bolts so the door could close.

Then I opened the door. It felt like I was opening a door for a little outhouse! Ha!

Just have to drill the holes in the wall for the propane hose.

Cool..... and the mice will appreciate this as seasonal transitional housing.
