Most people when they see the t-shirt won’t know the story behind it, but you will.

jsharr ★ Posted October 29, 2020 Share #7 Posted October 29, 2020 I donated my shirts back to the church/school. Got an email today asking if I wanted to donate the shirts or if I wanted them shipped to me. I told them donate shirts or used the funds in whatever way they were most needed.

Popular Post Kirby Posted October 29, 2020 Popular Post Share #13 Posted October 29, 2020 I can understand why you cried. It's sort of dusty here too. But I hope the shirt will also serve as a reminder of the many lives she touched at the school and the impact her life had in ways she probably never fully appreciated. That's a good reminder for all of us - I know you impact the lives of your residents who might otherwise be lonely, and LJ is such a great foundation for his family and Aire improves the lives of her students and faculty. I hope the shirt can be a reminder of the silent impact a good person can have, and help bring strength on difficult days. 2 1

The last decade gave me a lot of reason to lose faith and hope in humanity. I don't even mean political, though that's true. Many more things in my personal world. Toxic jobs, and toxic people, piled on years of an emotionally difficult growing up. The people at my job, my wife's colleagues, students, parents, friends...and all of you...have given me a reason to have some hope in humanity. And I greatly thank you all for it.

As much fun as it might be to be Wally and help disillusion interns like Asok, it is also nice to do the opposite once in a while.
