Our bar trivia team (usually myself and a few colleagues) usually places 1-3 when we show up, which pays for our next bar tab.

I gave us our name - "Pinky and the Brains".

This used to be useful for me when I made my own electronic hobby gadgets and when I taught physics - though I could never teach it to the students. But I have no use for it anymore:

Bad boys rape our young girls, but Violet gives willingly.

Black=0 Brown=1 Orange=2 Red=3 Yellow=4 Green=5 Blue=6 Violet=7 Grey=8 White=9.

These are the color codes for the bands on electrical resistors.
