ChrisL Posted October 29, 2020 Share #1 Posted October 29, 2020 Here is a shot of the hillside just to the east of my office. The hills are normally brown this time of year but are charred black. You can also see a red line from the flame retardant. I haven’t checked the county websites but I’m certain Whiting Ranch, a popular MTB area is closed as that hill is part of the park. The fire is still burning but I believe they are just protecting structures & letting it run its course. It’s about 5 miles away and moving away from me.
