Dirtyhip Posted November 3, 2020 Share #1 Posted November 3, 2020 Remember our new address being really, really similar to our current address? They each have 6 letters. They start and end with the same letter. Same amount of syllables and they even sound similar. You only change two letters of the street. We just got a final approval and sign off on a septic system. They used the number of our current house, but the street name of our new house. HAHA No one at the county caught it either. This is going to be very fun, when we change our addresses to the new one. Not that street...the other street.
JerrySTL ★ Posted November 3, 2020 Share #2 Posted November 3, 2020 Years ago there was a family down the street who had the same last name and ours wasn't a common one. Our street address as 5364 and theirs was 5564. We got each others mail quite often.

Scrapr ★ Posted November 3, 2020 Share #5 Posted November 3, 2020 prepare for the trades to show up at the "other" house. 7:03 am phone call. "This house doesn't need a new roof" Get out ahead of that. Tell your contractor to warn the trades. Big red letters on the address block on the prints or work order

Luckily, there is not enough room at our current house to install a foundation and a new home. It won't fit.
