Orbital Bone Blow Out

Recommended Posts

It sounds pretty tough, doesn't it? It's actually a very thin bone under your eye socket. It is easily broken when your dog jumps onto the couch at the exact same time you are leaning forward to adjust his blanket and hits his forehead square on your nose.

There's not much the doctor can do for it. She told me tylenol, antibiotics (in case there's a cut in my sinuses), decongestant, and ice.

Rough... never broke a bone but took some shots to the face over the years and they do hurt.  Expect some bruising & swelling too.

I have a nice black eye.  A second grader started crying about it.  I felt so bad.

Pirate eye patch?

Tell him you’re clumsy and fell down the stairs.

I'd tell the 2nd grader "The other guy looks a lot worse."

I would tell the second grader that a third grade teacher gave it to me for talking in his or her class

Hey @jsharr, somewhere in here is parody material.  I can just tell.

And sorry to hear about the eye, Admin.  Defective airbags in an Aztec will cause the same injury
