Sometimes I wonder with the news hype it just makes some people freak out /hurry up to buy (and have a huge mortgage). What maybe happening now and totally under the radar (aka not reported in the news media), are some more foreign investors or new Canadians investing in cities like ours because real estate is cheaper...not as exciting as VAncouver but still not far from mountains to enjoy. Just gotta put up with cold winters..though we get a ton of sunshine year round.
Dottleshead ★ Posted November 21, 2020 Author Share #4 Posted November 21, 2020 Well if you buy, don't come out here unless you have deep pockets and like getting ripped off. But if you're selling it's a great place.
JerrySTL ★ Posted November 21, 2020 Share #5 Posted November 21, 2020 My stepfather's house had 3 showings the first day on the market. It's about 8 miles south of Cincinnati in Northern Kentucky not too far from the airport. We hope that it sells quickly or even gets into a bidding war. 2

goldendesign Posted November 21, 2020 Share #7 Posted November 21, 2020 Our markets back to and in some cases surpassed the 08 bubble. We refinanced recently, the bank wanted to give us cash and to finance higher than we bought. Owe about 100, worth about 550 right now. We politely declined. We just wanted the lower rate, slightly lower payments and a shorter pay off period. Got all three without a sweat. 2 1

About 11 months ago we sold our old home in 6 days. The closing too a few weeks...
