donkpow Posted December 5, 2020 Share #1 Posted December 5, 2020 So I follow the local conservancy district on Facebook. I usually just like their content and move on. Today, they said if I know what city the picture was from, comment. I did but I didn't say the city, just leave it open. Anyway, as soon as I entered my brief comment, a popup came on and informed me that I "am a major fan" of the conservancy district. I just thought you needed to know.

donkpow Posted December 6, 2020 Author Share #5 Posted December 6, 2020 15 minutes ago, Razors Edge said: Only in Ohio? It's actually more than they represent. Decades of agricultural runoff and the unnatural nature of the old canal feeder lakes (including the largest man made lake in the world at it's construction) have led to a watershed that is kind of sick. Since these lakes drain into the rivers, monitoring by the conservancy is more important than letting people know if it's safe to swim. https://www.dailystandard.com/archive/2010-07-29/stories/12487/man-ill-from-toxin-in-lake
