KrAzY Posted August 14, 2014 Share #1 Posted August 14, 2014 Our dogs go totally nuts barking when some not making any noise walks down the street, because they want to say Hi to them. But when we have 10 people working in the front yard repairing gas lines with big machines, they just lay around the house not giving a care in the world that they are there. Not one bark, nor look out the window...
Chopped Liver Posted August 14, 2014 Share #2 Posted August 14, 2014 sounds like they are defective. Are they still in their warranty period?
KrAzY Posted August 14, 2014 Author Share #3 Posted August 14, 2014 The puppy is, we have only had her for a few months.... The beagle on the other hand is well past her return date.....
jsharr Posted August 14, 2014 Share #4 Posted August 14, 2014 My dogs go ape shit crazy over any sort of disturbance. Last night, I was grilling steaks, and they did this. They see me heading to the back door with my tongs and spatula and they go berserk. I never give them anything off the grill, but they do tend to get some table scraps after. It does make me feel like the big man on campus though to have a posse follow me when I grill.
jsharr Posted August 14, 2014 Share #5 Posted August 14, 2014 And they can hear the trash truck from the other end of the alley. There is apparently nothing better in the world than barking at trash men. NOTHING!
KrAzY Posted August 14, 2014 Author Share #6 Posted August 14, 2014 Ohhhh the trash guys are a different story! My puppy broke out of the yard and jumped into the middle of the the trash can just to see if he would pet her. it did not work out the way she hoped it would have!
kingtermite Posted August 14, 2014 Share #7 Posted August 14, 2014 Maybe afraid of the commotion when so much is going on, especially big machines.
jsharr Posted August 14, 2014 Share #8 Posted August 14, 2014 I think they are pissed off that those guys keep coming and taking the big bags full of stinky goodness before they can eat it, roll in it and puke it back up.
