We did have a small crash when I clipped a gate on the bike trail. The gate was closed so I tried to swing around on the outside. Smashed my left pinky finger. Ironically the gate wasn't locked. Slime didn't fill the cut. Patched it and used CO2 cartridge to fill it up. Patch didn't hold. Damn. Put in a new tube and used a mini pump to fill it up as I was out of CO2. It’s been six days since I had my half treatment of chemo. I think I’m going to be in trouble on the 21st. I got two miles from home and came to a road closed sign. I almost cried. Two miles from the end there was a guy passed out on the trail. I called 911 while WoJSTL checked on him and gaaave him water and an energy bar. Young homeless guy who didn't seem drunk. A one room school house that a historical society and the town restored. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Wind didn’t pickup until a couple miles before we turned around. Nice tailwind most of the way back.
