Saturday supper

Yesterday, I unfroze a bowlful of homemade Martha Stewart's Savory Fall Stew.

Today, I'm unfreezing one of two bowlfuls left of ham, navy bean, potato, carrot, onion, and celery soup saved from the batch cooking below that's almost overflowing a 5 qt saute pan - more veggies and ham than broth!

That way, my blood sugar won't soar when I pig out on snacks while watching all the NFL games!
