If I don’t dry my hair after a shower now it goes all curly.

bikeman564™ Posted January 15, 2021 Share #8 Posted January 15, 2021 How much hair do you have? Even if I showered before bed, my hair would be dry in few minutes.
Zealot Posted January 15, 2021 Share #9 Posted January 15, 2021 I wash my hair in the mornings. No matter what it looks like when I go to bed, my hair is a veritable rat’s nest when I wake up.

At least skipping the shower shrinks the "awake <-> drinking coffee" window by a good bit of time.
Longjohn ★ Posted January 15, 2021 Share #13 Posted January 15, 2021 I drink a pot of coffee first thing, then get my wife’s breakfast, then shower. I’m usually just getting dressed as the aide gets here.

Except when the idiot locked us down and I had to go twice that, and get cut in Ohio.
shootingstar Posted January 15, 2021 Share #15 Posted January 15, 2021 I actually hate going to sleep with wet hair...who wants a damp pillow and feeling icky/damp around neck, my back etc. I don't even understand the rationale to have long, wet hair past shoulders and going to bed. So I've probably only done it twice in my life. In past 20 years, shower/hair washed in evenings...a few hrs. before bed. I'm not as fussed as other women who have very curly hair, because my hair is naturally straight and any messiness is easily brushed/combed out in 1 min. For some women it isn't just about looking good, it's taming curly hair properly when one's hair is longer or cut in a certain way. I used to get up very early and shower/wash hair, then bike/continue my day.

ChrisL Posted January 15, 2021 Share #17 Posted January 15, 2021 I am wearing my hair a bit longer these days and my wife often giggles at my whackadoo hair in the morning. Although still relatively short, this is the longest she’s ever seen it in 33 years.
