Dottleshead ★ Posted January 17, 2021 Share #54 Posted January 17, 2021 Quote The Packers didn't allow any sacks despite playing without injured All-Pro left tackle David Bakhtiari, while Green Bay sacked Jared Goff four times. That says a lot actually.

Hats off to Rodgers & LaFluer who had a great game plan that was perfectly executed. I think the Rams D kept it close for a while but The Pack kept chipping away. I didn’t expect to lose this way, I thought we could score more on the Packers D the way Goff played. Solid win for the Packers.

BuffJim Posted January 17, 2021 Author Share #63 Posted January 17, 2021 I got to watch most of the game. Had a team effort nursing my Dad who was in extreme pain when we had to move him to change his bedding. So I missed the Diggs Touchdown. But glad we won. Kzoo Posted January 17, 2021 Share #64 Posted January 17, 2021 @BuffJim, best play call of the night by Al, “Wide left. At least it wasn’t wide right, sorry Buffalo.” Go Chiefs.
MickinMD ★ Posted January 17, 2021 Share #65 Posted January 17, 2021 The Bills Defense looked awesome, though the very-strong winds greatly reduced to game to almost a crap-shoot: even the goal posts were waving back and forth and GOAT Kicker Justin Tucker missed two FG's as the football knuckle-balled back and forth with the wind after being kicked. If the Ravens had to lose, I'm glad it was to a team that hadn't won a playoff game since 1995, before this year. I'll probably be rooting for the Bills the rest of the way.
Dottleshead ★ Posted January 17, 2021 Share #66 Posted January 17, 2021 I don't see how you can put that loss on Tucker. I just don't. That pick-six in the red zone was the back breaker. If you're going to single out players for that loss, go no further than your quarterback. And no, you can't blame the wind for that.

Weird things happen to stale teams. They've got a decent shot. So much so that I'll be watching the game -- at least for the first half.
Dottleshead ★ Posted January 17, 2021 Share #69 Posted January 17, 2021 Was I the only one that saw that helmet to helmet blast on the goal line? That was the first thing I noticed. Bummer for the Browns because if they scored there, it would have made this an interesting game.

Gonna take a lot of good play and good luck to get back into this game.

They seemed to indicate that he no longer could throw a long pass???? Was that a short-term injury, or was that a chronic issue for him? Seems that would be a reason to retire

MickinMD ★ Posted January 18, 2021 Share #82 Posted January 18, 2021 I was rooting for the Saints. They swept the Buccaneers during the regular season then lose in the playoffs to them - that's got to be tough to take.
