I have a dirty bike...or do I?

I last rode my bike on the 24th.  If felt good to ride, and even though it rained cats and dogs before and after both rides that day (10 mile each way), I didn't get rained on.  The bike got disgusting though, but living in a NYC apartment, I really didn't know how to wash it without a hose or access to the outside world and buckets of water to rinse and wash with.

I was frustrated, but found a way to improvise.

This is from the first month with the bike.  I did flip the stem, so it is much higher in the front end now.

I apologize for the lack of kickstand and racing streamers.

Still too high!   BTW this is one of my favorite LF gags.

IIRC Bruce the LF snow & ice riding apartment living librarian washed his bikes in the shower as well. If a outside deck or porch isn’t an option that makes the most sense.

Sweet bike even if the saddle is too high! 😁

It looks even higher in that pic.  You need a fitting.
