Ending a four-year petless streak at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, the Bidens’ German shepherds are ready to join the new first family of the U.S. in Washington. Major’s entrée into the ranks of Washington elites marks a, ahem, major turning point. He is the White House’s first-ever shelter dog.
