MickinMD 5,667 Posted January 26 Share #14 Posted January 26 Did you do any lifting or working out the day before? If so, since you don't mention muscle soreness I won't suggest ice, but it may be tendons and or muscles and helpful is a long soak in a tub plus a pain reliever (Naproxen, Ibuprofen, Tylenol, Aspirin). Otherwise, it's very odd for both elbows to begin aching at the same time with some physical activity causing it.

Philander Seabury 30,551 Posted January 26 Share #24 Posted January 26 Does anyone else here find it funny-odd (not funny-haha) that Superman was played by George Reeves and then by Christopher Reeve? And wait - there's more! Both died somewhat early and tragic deaths. Also, there was a popular actor of the 60's and 70's named Christopher George. He starred in the 60's TV show, "The Rat Patrol" and acted in numerous other TV shows and movies. He also died relatively young (52, same as Christopher Reeve) in 1983 from a damaged heart. On topic: I understand the complaint is pain in the elbows. This is a common symptom of aging. I'd say the patient needs to come to terms with the fact and accept that he will have to pay for no assistance with his problems. However, this does not mean that he can't receive services. One of my friends is an elbow specialist. He routinely removes elbows from people when they have problems. I can refer him to the specialist if he desires it. Also, I can write prescriptions for the most common old people drugs. Here's a pamphlet from the government on that. Since the majority of patients that come through the practice have diabetes, I think we should go ahead and get him started on a monitoring program. I can write prescriptions for diabetes, easy. They have a lot of drugs for that. Here's a pamphlet on that from the government. Feel free to call us any time and wait in the queue to not get help. Also, we have a nice computerized system you can contact that has excellent literature from the government for you.
