I've never heard of this nor seen it at our end.  Either it's fresh or frozen. I wonder how locals would respond to have it tinned...

We used cubed stew meat in pint jars. Cooked it in a pressure canner for 90 minutes.

Interesting. Is canned venison better in taste quality than venison that's been frozen for 1 month? People up at our end are more accustomed seeing a hunk of game meat...either fresh or frozen.

I dunno. Maybe there's canned moose meat somewhere.

Not necessarily better just different. Canned it will keep 18/24 months
