Forum Administrator Posted March 15, 2021 Share #1 Posted March 15, 2021 It is soooooo much easier than waxing a car. I wish I would have know about this years ago. If this coating lasts half as long as they claim, it will be a huge improvement.

JerrySTL ★ Posted March 16, 2021 Share #3 Posted March 16, 2021 I had a coworker who had it professionally applied to his boat. He was super happy about it and next had his car done. I still have some wax in the garage, but when that's done, I may apply the stuff myself after doing a super clean and clay bar treatment.
Further Posted March 16, 2021 Share #4 Posted March 16, 2021 Liquid Glass is the best car polish / wax I've ever used. It is very easy to apply.

Kzoo Posted March 16, 2021 Share #6 Posted March 16, 2021 We bought WoKzoo a 2012 Cr-V a couple weeks ago. It had ceramic coating when new. The finish looks as good or better as the day it was built.

donkpow Posted March 16, 2021 Share #8 Posted March 16, 2021 I use this stuff and love it. Spray on, rinse off. True it's not a coating and it's not a wax, in the usual sense. Still, I love it.

I really like their interior cleaner and leather protectant. Also, the spray and wipe stuff for in-between washes. I am a little compulsive about that. I hate a clean car with a few spots of dirt. Funny though, if it gets overall dirty, I am way less bothered. Einstien gave me speed wipes for Christmas and I was thrilled./

team scooter Posted March 16, 2021 Share #16 Posted March 16, 2021 The toxic place I used to work at bought a new truck. I suggested, rather than tie the truck up for a day at the sign painters, order up some vinyl lettering signs and install it themselves. Without telling me they did just that and were so proud of the job they did they claimed the idea as their own. Until the stickers blew off a few days later, then it was my idea again. I told them had they asked, I would have told them to prep the paint by removing the ceramic coating the dealer applied first. Ah yes, passive aggressiveness isn't as much fun for the aggressor if they're playing checkers while their "victim" is playing chess.
12string Posted March 16, 2021 Share #17 Posted March 16, 2021 I suppose I should look into the ceramic wax thing. I haven't had time to wax, I've been paying shops, but I don't do it as often as I should for ungaraged vehicles

It literally takes one additional rinse on wash day to wax your car. I'm not saying it's professional detail stuff but I like it and it looks good.
