I told him I don't keep a lot of money in the bank to earn 0.1% interest besides my 2.1% to 2.85% CD's that I don't want to redeem early, so it may take a little time to get money from various investments direct deposited into my checking account. He said, "No problem, I know you're good for it. You tell me when you can pay the bill for the termite damage and the extra flooring." I thought that would be by tomorrow, but it might not be until Tuesday. Being straightforward means I don't have to worry there's going to be any slow-down of work on the house if the direct deposit is a couple days later than the email says.
