Popular Post AirwickWithCheese Posted April 10, 2021 Popular Post Share #1 Posted April 10, 2021 I've noticed with almost all of Road Runner's posts and many of Philander's posts (what's the deal with the name btw, I miss Ralph T. Mooseworth) that they are labeled "popular post". How does one achieve such greatness and hierarchy? To be honest, I know I could never achieve this distinction unless you showed me unwarranted kindness and liked say this post just to be kind. It would mean a lot to me. I drive a 1991 Volkswagen cabriolet that was a high school graduation present. I think at the time my parents felt I would be heading to greater and better things in life. Exactly 30 years later I get the impression MomCheese is somewhat ashamed I still own the cabriolet much less drive the cabriolet. Anyway, my point is I've learned to be appreciative of the small things in life. I would be proud to have at least one post reach popular post status. Last Thanksgiving because of Covid and a much smaller gathering for dinner, I was given the opportunity to sit at the adult table. I was overtaken with emotion to get the opportunity to sit beside Aunt Jean, my Mother's unbelievably wealthy and widowed older sister. The small things in life. Airehead skipped me at Christmas with her traditional family Christmas card. No card from Wilbur who had sent me one for the last 5 years. Kirby sent me an email instead of a card, Petite didn't even reply to my Merry Christmas text. The small things in life.
