Popular Post Ralphie ★ Posted April 17, 2021 Popular Post Share #1 Posted April 17, 2021 Pretty darn good moneymaker for a local tulip farmer! $12 just to walk through and $1 per tulip picked! I am glad they hit the tiptoe through the tulips angle in their write-up, otherwise it wood have been like waiting for the other shoe to drop. Not sure if the daughters are coming down for this this weekend of peak blooms or not. https://daltonfarmsnj.com/ 4

Tulips are top of the menu for lots and lots of varmints! We could never keep them for any length of time. Hmmm, I guess the farm must be fenced. So this weekend is sold oot. Agrotourism is a great busyness for this area. Tons of population but still some open area around. The local winery just rakes in the money from people sitting next to the vineyard guzzling wine!

MoseySusan Posted April 18, 2021 Share #7 Posted April 18, 2021 On our bike tour in the Netherlands, we rode past fields where just a couple of weeks before there were tulips and other spring flowers. The server at a little restaurant across from a field said the area is packed with tourists during the two weeks of flowering. She told us we picked a good time for our bike tour. More relaxed.
