Parr8hed Posted August 29, 2014 Share #1 Posted August 29, 2014 131 miles so far this week. By far my best week of the year. And probably 80 or so of those are on Cx tires at 45 psi.
Dirtyhip Posted August 29, 2014 Share #2 Posted August 29, 2014 Nice! 100 last week for me. Combo of fat bike, regular mountainbike, roadie and commuter. I mix it up a lot. Eeeny meeny miny moe...which bike wants to go?
Parr8hed Posted August 29, 2014 Author Share #3 Posted August 29, 2014 I REALLY like riding the Cx tires at lower pressure. It is a damn workout. And it is comfy. With carbon bars, seat post and 45 psi in the Cx taars that bike rolls over the bumps. (OK, I am sure it is nothing compared to a fat bike but compared to 115 psi road taars it is a caddy!) Dirtyhip Posted August 29, 2014 Share #4 Posted August 29, 2014 (OK, I am sure it is nothing compared to a fat bike but compared to 115 psi road taars it is a caddy!) I'm running 8 and 12 psi on the fat boy and even lower if I ride in the sneau. Slooow, but it isn't always about speed. It's about the ride. Road Runner Posted August 29, 2014 Share #5 Posted August 29, 2014 I'm running 8 and 12 psi on the fat boy and even lower if I ride in the sneau. Slooow, but it isn't always about speed. It's about the ride. That must feel like you are riding in sludge. I keep my road tires at 125. I'm off the bike for at least a week, maybe more until my stitches are out and my gash has healed. Parr8hed Posted August 30, 2014 Author Share #12 Posted August 30, 2014 186 miles with the weekend left to go(2 days). I'd like to hit 300 miles this week Good Luck. I rarely ride much on the weekends. Did ride the tandem for just a few today. Weekends are family ride times.
Former member Posted August 31, 2014 Share #13 Posted August 31, 2014 Good Luck. I rarely ride much on the weekends. Did ride the tandem for just a few today. Weekends are family ride times.Thanks. Tomorrow I need to ride 61.2 miles to make 300 for the week. Before my wreck, 300 miles was just a solid week, but now it feels like a lot of miles.
