Popular Post Longjohn ★ Posted April 18, 2021 Popular Post Share #1 Posted April 18, 2021 She was working on a full size blanket for each of the twins when she died. I saw she was struggling with it and encourage her to finish it the size it is. She said no I want to add one more section or it won’t look right. She wasn’t able to finish it. I didn’t know what to do with it and my daughter in law said “I’ll finish it for you dad, Esther taught me how to crochet”. They are packing to drive back to Georgia right now. She finished the blanket this morning. 6 13

Popular Post Square Wheels Posted April 18, 2021 Popular Post Share #4 Posted April 18, 2021 My nana made me a blanket when I was a teen. I still have, and treasure, it. 3 1
MickinMD ★ Posted April 18, 2021 Share #5 Posted April 18, 2021 My mother made a great blanket like that. Unfortunately, it was one of the things I lost in the house fire. Fortunately, she made others for my siblings so there are still mementoes of here crochet work around.

Popular Post Longjohn ★ Posted April 18, 2021 Author Popular Post Share #7 Posted April 18, 2021 My son just left to go back to Georgia. This is my first time alone in this big house. We stood in the driveway saying goodbye for about an hour. We had multiple hugs with everyone and photos. He couldn’t bring himself to get in the car and go. I finally said “You better get in and start driving, you got a long way to go”. 2

The grandkids are gone I need to work on paperwork. I hate paperwork and didn’t want to start it with the little one running around. 1

I missed the posts about her passing. I am very sorry for your loss, but hope you are at peace. We all know how much you did to care for her and make her as comfortable as possible for so long.
