JerrySTL ★ Posted September 1, 2014 Share #1 Posted September 1, 2014 Last night I changed the cassette and chain on my bike. I also wash and waxed it with Pledge Furniture Polish. Works really well and leaves a pleasing lemony smell. Of course after driving 45 miles to a group ride, the rain starts pouring down. We just called it a day and didn't ride. I got the blame because I cleaned my bike.

Former member Posted September 2, 2014 Share #4 Posted September 2, 2014 See what happens when you clean your bicycles? I clean the sweat and sports drink off my bikes every week, and never worry about rain.
Parr8hed Posted September 2, 2014 Share #5 Posted September 2, 2014 I clean the sweat and sports drink off my bikes every week, and never worry about rain. I do as well really. I clean the chains pretty well. But the rest of it gets a little a little grimy.
Former member Posted September 2, 2014 Share #6 Posted September 2, 2014 after driving 45 miles to a group ride That's your problem right there. 90 miles round-trip to go for a bike ride is unsane.
