I won’t need to buy TP for a month

Trying to look at the bright side  of a construction porta potty for a month.

Also, cheap property taxes for a short while until they catch up to us.

Oh and a traveling home that is easy to clean

what other positives have you got for me?

Nothing but intimacy.  That, and living on the property will help you spruce it up a bit faster.

It is all worth it!

You save money on an unnecessary camping trip this year.

Just who do you think is paying for the porta potty at YOUR construction site?

I am the dark lining to your silver cloud you see.

Here's what's been in our driveway for a month. Only had to use it once while the plumbing was being worked on for the master bathroom renovation. Just waiting on a few special parts, like glass shower doors, to arrive.

It has a happy face on it.

It will be a lovely adventure.  Where will you keep the meat that you are picking up on Friday?

I postponed them for two weeks.  It is staying out at the meat place for now.

Once our grace period ends, I think we will run the freezer on a pallet under the porch, or a tarp.  Not ideal, but it will work.

You are not playing along with the theme of this thread.

It will be an inconvenience, but it will make moving into your dream house even more special  In the grand scheme of things, this is a short period of time  and will make for a good story a year from now.

Are you & the hubby the only ones using the potty? Surely, the workers won't be using it too??

It is a construction potty.

We have a small crew.  I am not too concerned about this.

It is actually very clean by porta standards.  I already had to use it a couple of times and it nothing like one I have encountered during my travels.  The one I had to use for the Enduro races I did would cause nightmares.

I am a tough and a very resilient person.

Too funny. Speeding is illegal in all 50 states! Huzzah! I wonder how folks hike the Appalachian Trail?  Are porta-potties interspersed every mile or so?  I guess this laws are why the Tour of California went under, too?

True.

If I get caught speeding the risk is I get a ticket, maybe I get lucky and it's just a warning.

If I get caught peeing outside, the risk is I get marked as a sex offender depending on where I pee.  Is there a school 500 feet through the woods that I didn't see?

@denniS may not agree, but the back of a dumpster works in most places!

Dude was 500 ft from a public toilet.

A friend of mine was riding a century. He pulled into a pullout to pee. A car pulls up facing him. State Patrol. Officer is female and laughing her ass off. She told him to find something more discrete next time.

I was gonna ask if the shower was equipped for peeing, but after they move in.  No water yet I don't think.

Bastards at the power company did not show up last week. I am hoping for Monday.

My well guy is ready to get us going as soon as the juice turns on. He is a BFF of ours.
