Gout sucks

As I've said before, when I had my heart attack, I went to see the doctor the next day. When I had my first gout attack, I got up in the middle of the night and went to the ER. A gout attack hurt more than some of my broken bones.

I have allopurinol on hand and started it as soon as I get symptoms.  Toe almost back to normal.  Very mild flare up but Friday night hurt

Some other healthy foods can trigger gout such as peas, asparagus, and some other legumes.

My triggers are artificial sweeteners and highly process meats.  I recently have been snacking on berries and sugar free whipped cream and paid the price.  Just snacking on the berries now

Still does not want to bend but basically pain free

That's good news...

I've had gout for a few years now.  Maybe one flare up a year.
