MickinMD ★ Posted May 23, 2021 Share #1 Posted May 23, 2021 The news stories about USA murders, child deaths, etc. seem to have mushroomed lately and I wondered if it was due to news sources fixating on them or if it was due to increases in deaths and injuries. So I did some online searching. It turns out the murder and child injury-death rates made strong improvements, from the 90's to about 2013 and are still low compared to a generation ago. That doesn't make those that occur any less sad, but at least we don't have to worry that society is falling apart in the respect for life aspects.
