Razors Edge ★ Posted May 24, 2021 Share #1 Posted May 24, 2021 ...it is funny to see how things were done "in the old days". Nowadays it's a quick e-mail, probably some on-line BS you gotta work through, and submitting travel and expenses via the timecard system. But back in the day, it meant PAPERWORK! And "formal" paperwork as well. Good stuff.

maddmaxx ★ Posted May 24, 2021 Share #6 Posted May 24, 2021 Intelligence service documents are sent on paper by a courier. They come in two forms. One is take the document, read it, burn it. The other category is burn before reading.

ChrisL Posted May 24, 2021 Share #10 Posted May 24, 2021 When I got into management with my first guard firm we had one stand alone computer to create post procedures & instructions. All written communication was by hard copy memo’s that were either faxed or sent via UPS. We also had pagers when we were in the field & had to call in to get our messages when paged. I carried a crap ton of quarters back then...
