Dirtyhip Posted May 24, 2021 Share #1 Posted May 24, 2021 I guess the cabs go in first, then flooring. I would have thought it was the other way around. The whitewash cabs are so pretty. 1

Oh, this is cool... we have some professional trail builders that are arriving this weekend. They are bringing a mini excavator and some other equipment to help us build out the property. They are here for professional reasons, and asked to stay on our property. They said that they will help us with the jumpline and help to dial in the pump track. It still needs a little fine tuning. The jump line route is flagged and roughed in, but there are no jumps just yet. 1

Little punch list fixes separate. We have all the appliances. I am moving in once we have floor, operational plumbing, and locking doors.

MickinMD ★ Posted May 29, 2021 Share #14 Posted May 29, 2021 You're way ahead of me! Supposedly the sheetrock is done by today and the contractor's interior design person, Kristi, said things go fast after that - but she wasn't figuring on all the delays in inspectors and permits. The flooring isn't in yet and my refrigerator and washer/dryer are scheduled to be delivered on Friday - I may have to postpone that again. I'm hopefully, no longer "surely," in the house before the end of June. I'm moving from my apartment into a hotel suite Sun-Mon, having already moved a lot of stuff that I accumulated in the past year to my brother's house (bike, computer printer, winter clothes, etc. I won't move again until I'm in my house). I'm cleaning out the refrigerator this evening and the bathroom tomorrow and I should have the apartment close to spotless when I leave.
