Randomguy Posted May 25, 2021 Share #1 Posted May 25, 2021 Strawberry shortcake or fudgesicles. Pushups were happy things, too. Yum.
Dirtyhip Posted May 25, 2021 Share #2 Posted May 25, 2021 I never really had much of this. Maybe twice in my life and I do not remember what I picked.

jsharr ★ Posted May 25, 2021 Share #5 Posted May 25, 2021 Man, I was either a bombpop guy or any of the ones that were popsicle on the outside and ice cream on the inside. Drumsticks were not too shabby either.

MickinMD ★ Posted May 25, 2021 Share #7 Posted May 25, 2021 I remember loving fudgesicles from the "Good Humor" ice cream truck that a "Mr. Charlie" drove through our neighborhood on summer days in the 50's to early 60's, though on real hot days they were a little more sticky to deal with than popsicles. Creamy Fudgesicles 4.5 Stars (269 Reviews) Ingredients 2 cups milk or cream 2 tablespoon cocoa powder 2 tablespoon sugar 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips Instructions In microwave safe bowl, or a large measuring cup, heat milk on high until hot but not boiling, about 2 minutes. Remove from microwave and whisk in cocoa and sugar until completely blended. Pour milk mixture over chocolate chips and stir until chips are completely melted. Let mixture cool for 5 minutes then pour into popsicle molds. Place popsicle sticks in each compartment. Freeze until completely frozen. About 6-8 hours. Notes If using wooden sticks or paper straws, you will need to let your popsicles freeze for about 1-2 hours before placing the sticks so they stay in place.

Kirby ★ Posted May 26, 2021 Share #13 Posted May 26, 2021 I'd usually pick a creamsicle or a plain ice cream bar coated with chocolate. I'd try the strawberry shortcake sometimes, but it wasn't my favorite.
Thaddeus Kosciuszko Posted May 26, 2021 Share #14 Posted May 26, 2021 I think the best ice cream truck treat was all the perky tunes the truck would play as it rolled down the street.
