Dad o sharr made it with Skinner elbow macaroni, Wolf brand chili, no beans, and cubed Velveeta cheese.  My job was to cube the Velveeta.  He would add diced onions to his.  I would not.   This was a staple in the sharr house when mom o sharr was not cooking, which did not happen often.

In our house, you boiled elbow macaroni, spooned it into a bowl, added cubed Velveeta cheese and then topped that with Wolf brand chili.

You can just shut your dirty mouth and stay out of this thread if you don't have anything nice to say.  Chili mac was a bonding experience between a father and a son in my childhood.
