Popular Post Kirby Posted June 7, 2021 Popular Post Share #1 Posted June 7, 2021 I originally had reservations last spring to go visit a nearby animal sanctuary . This reservations got delayed because the place was shut to the public. That made me sad. They rescheduled the reservations for this spring which made me happy. I was looking forward to going because I hadn't been away overnight in over a year. This made me excited. Because of the covid protocols, they only let one party stay at a time, so I had the whole house to myself. This made me feel a little lonely. So I invited my sisters. The Not Wild One could come for the 2 days, and the wild one was planning to come up for a day. This made me feel happy. I had to explain to them all the vegan restrictions which made them feel confused, but they eventually figured them out which made them feel less confused. The day before I was to leave, I saw the weather reports - they were predicting heavy thunderstorms and possible hail. This made me feel very nervous. I considered canceling, but decided to go anyway. This made me feel sort of adventurous. It turns out the weather was fine, and there was only a little rain for about an hour on one of the days. This made me feel very lucky. We had a nice time visiting the animals, except for maybe the goats who were a little feisty. They made me feel a little nervous. I even got to visit Wilbur which made me feel friendly. It was good to get away even for just a few days and I feel very pleased about the short trip. In normal times when there are multiple people there, they make a nice breakfast each morning. Now they made some stuff in advance for breakfast and left it for you .
