kingtermite Posted September 7, 2014 Share #5 Posted September 7, 2014 Google maps don't normally, but if you turn the GPS feature on it will either do that on google maps, or you need to switch to the gps maps.
kingtermite Posted September 7, 2014 Share #6 Posted September 7, 2014 Wait...so you're posting on the phone while driving, though?
Square Wheels Posted September 7, 2014 Share #7 Posted September 7, 2014 My google maps will talk to me. Is it connected to the car? If the phone is connected to the car, you need to turn bluetooth off.

jsharr ★ Posted September 8, 2014 Share #13 Posted September 8, 2014 If your phone will run WAZE, you should download that app. https://www.waze.com/ I love WAZE on my phone.
Square Wheels Posted September 8, 2014 Share #14 Posted September 8, 2014 I tried Waze, for some reason I hate it. I think Google owns it, so hopefully they will fix it.
Zephyr Posted September 8, 2014 Share #15 Posted September 8, 2014 Im still waiting for the gps voiced by Napoleon Dynamite, so when you miss a turn instead of saying "recalculating" it says "Idiot"
jsharr ★ Posted September 8, 2014 Share #16 Posted September 8, 2014 Im still waiting for the gps voiced by Napoleon Dynamite, so when you miss a turn instead of saying "recalculating" it says "Idiot" I tried to use Elvis as my Waze voice, but that idiot could not say street names. He would just tell me to turn right or left. I would go for a Napolean Dynamite voice! That would be assume. When you get to your destinatinon, he could tell you that he caught you a delicious bass! JerrySTL ★ Posted September 8, 2014 Share #17 Posted September 8, 2014 Does your vehicle have Bluetooth? (If not, it's time to start shopping for a new vehicle so that you'll have one by 2020). If it does, do you have your phone synched up to it? Is your radio set to receive Bluetooth? I can't be listening to my usb drive or FM radio if I want to have my phone's GPS call out instructions. Maybe I didn't take the time to learn it that well, but it really didn't do much for me.
