The space feels so nice.

The pumptrack is great and pumpable.

The soil is a nice combo of sand and loam. I think I arrived just in time to save this bit of soil.

The roofline is classy and classic.

Walking up to the front door, I can see through the entire house.

It is so bright and appears so spacious for an 1100 sq. fter.

The access panels to the crawl space will be excellent for food storage.

Sun risng and setting into our huge windows is joyous.

Back deck is wonderful to sit on and watch the traffic, the trains, the river, and the mountains in the distance.

There are excellent venting features buit in.

It is very bright.

...and it is all ours.

So nice - and you were able to pick out the house design and see it blossom.

My house was built when small, separated rooms were in vogue.  One of my neighbors ran his steps to and from the second floor and basement along the middle of the house so that he could joint the living room and front bedroom to open things up.  That's a possibility for the future for me, but now the steps separate the living room from that room.  Originally and until around 1960, the kitchen and living room were semi open, but I need that kitchen wall for cabinets, fridge, etc.

Big windows are nice. I would live in a glass house if I had a private enough lot.

I have a wall sized picture window next to my bathtub. From the backyard one can see me in all my nekkid glory.
Which may explain why the parcel behind Springwood has been zoned industrial with mandatory 150 foot green space barriers.
