Irony, or foolery?

Ok, so it gets “better.”
Aspen has a John Denver Nature Sanctuary with a river-side trail and rock lined riparian walkway dotted with big boulders that are inscribed with quotes by notable naturists like Rachel Carson and Edward Abbey. WT actual F. Like Abbey would ever want his words jackhammered into a non-native Boulder and placed into a fabricated landscape.

The only correct thing to do is bust the glass out of that door and take the book

Or, open the door. It’s not locked.
I wonder who put it there. These lending boxes are “take one, leave one,” Maybe they took the copy of Rich Dad, Poor Dad before leaving their eco-idealism’s dream.

My solution would be more ironic but way too heavy on foolery
