These hummingbirds are out of control!

If you pull one of the yellow plastic blossoms out of the hummingbird feeder the Orioles can drink from it,

The sound they make reminds me of my VW Beetle engine. And I like watching them fly around each other. The Rufous birds show up later in July. That’s when the aerial battles really start popping.

I remember the first time I saw a hummingbird and called my parents to tell them.  They always enjoyed feeding the birds and this was a big deal for a city girl. :nodhead:
