Popular Post Parsnip Totin Jack ★ Posted July 3, 2021 Popular Post Share #1 Posted July 3, 2021 We planted the garden shortly after moving in. The hibiscus bloomed today. A lot more to follow. Now to keep the deer and beetles from eating the flowers. 7 4

Ralphie ★ Posted July 3, 2021 Share #6 Posted July 3, 2021 Hibiscus was one of daughter #1s first wordz. Looks like fun! We also went nutz with a perennial flower garden when we moved it but it eventually faded away. Remember the black and white pics from Beauty and the Beast? I like my recipe that uses a little sour cream, but I’m open to other interpretations. I use King Arthur Recipe for baking powder biscuits. It’s on their website, KAB.com or something. AP flour, baking powder, salt, pinch sugar, butter, and milk or buttermilk. I cheat and use 3 heaping Tblsp plain yogurt and add milk to make a total one cup. I smoosh the butter to mix with the dry ingredients. Flour covered bits of fat is the goal. Bake in a hot oven in a cast iron skillet.
