Road Runner Posted September 13, 2014 Share #1 Posted September 13, 2014 Maybe it is time to outlaw tackle football. http://www.nytimes.com/2014/09/13/sports/football/actuarial-reports-in-nfl-concussion-deal-are-released.html?_r=
Former member Posted September 13, 2014 Share #2 Posted September 13, 2014 Soccer also has a high rate of concussions, maybe we should outlaw that too.

Ralphie ★ Posted September 13, 2014 Share #5 Posted September 13, 2014 Ball sorts suck! If everyone were like me, this would not be a problem. No spectators, no televised games with beer and car advertising.

No spectators, no televised games with beer and car advertising. Honestly, I've always enjoyed watching football, but if it went away tomorrow, I'm sure I could find other, probably better, uses of my time. If 1 in 3 are going to suffer brain damage, it kind of sucks the fun out of watching it anyway.
Randomguy Posted September 14, 2014 Share #7 Posted September 14, 2014 Tackle football is great! This is why they enter the big bucks lottery, because they get paid to roll the dice. I am not going to let RB play HS football now.
LoneWolf Posted September 15, 2014 Share #8 Posted September 15, 2014 Wonder if this is going to become the legal defense for poor behavior by an NFL player in the not-too-distant future.
