ChrisL Posted July 29, 2021 Share #2 Posted July 29, 2021 About 10 -12 years ago we had a white fly infestation that wiped out our local hibiscus plants. My mom had to cut all of hers down. We were walking Jack the other evening and I saw this plant in bloom & was happy to see hibiscus back.

Longjohn ★ Posted July 29, 2021 Share #4 Posted July 29, 2021 I just went out in the rain and added fertilizer to my sunflowers. I hope I didn’t overdo it. I bought a 40# bag of fertilizer this spring and then didn’t plant a garden. Sunflowers are like corn, you can grow them without fertilizer but if you give them lots of nitrogen they will grow 14 feet tall. I figured all this rain it will soak down into the soil.
