KrAzY Posted September 14, 2014 Share #1 Posted September 14, 2014 As I waled into my back yard, I was swarmed by the mother load of humming birds.. One actually flew into my arm while the other 6 went around me.. Before I knew it they made the return and one tried to take my head off with its beak... Damn the world! I am not going back out there tonight!!
Chopped Liver Posted September 14, 2014 Share #2 Posted September 14, 2014 1) Why are you kiling whales in your back yard? 2) What kind of bizarre humming birds do you have in your area. I mean, they sound viscious.

team scooter Posted September 14, 2014 Share #4 Posted September 14, 2014 Hummers are excellent fliers. They put dragonflies to shame. If they ran into you it must have been on purpose.

JerrySTL ★ Posted September 15, 2014 Share #9 Posted September 15, 2014 They must be migrating south. I have two feeders and a couple of steady customers during the summer. I don't need to fill the feeders more than a 1/4 full. However there seems to be dozens of hummingbirds now and the feeders are being drained pretty quickly. Former member Posted September 15, 2014 Share #12 Posted September 15, 2014 Can you mark my previous answer as SOLVED? It's pretty obvious that was the problem.I agree. I have a feeder hanging on the patio where I work on my bikes. Hummingbirds are always watching me work(sometimes from mere inches away), but they never bother me.
