Seeing how we have 25 concord grape vines, the answer is obvious. Although i do like apple and every spring make a marmalade from May apple.

You should make pie with that.

I like peach or apricot, but if I am serious about the sandwich, it is raspberry with a shit ton of tasty seeds.

We trade them with the local Amish for homemade goodies.

Whatever is handy, and my wife has not issued a 'hands off' notice.

Yep.  Generally it is apricot, then either strawberry or raspberry.  Almost never grape (my go to for the first 30 years of life).  My wife is big into apricot, so that's usually in the fridge already.  I prefer strawberry or raspberry, but sometimes that one is not open yet, so apricot wins.

That's not a PB&J.  That's a banana sandwich.  I also like them with peanut butter on one slice of bread and mayo on the other.   :)

Actually, the best PB&J's that I make often have strawberry slices or fresh blueberries on them, in addition to pecans or walnut pieces.  Next level stuff, Sue is on the right path!

Mayo?  My grandmother used to make peanut butter sandwiches with butter on them.  I didn't like that then, but I would be more accepting of that now for sure.

I ate those as a child when we were out of jelly. So yummy!
My brother tried peanut butter and Prell shampoo. He thought it smelled nice, and might taste good. But it didn’t.

What is the diff between jam and jelly?  I have only had what are called 'jam's

So with PB, it is strawberry jam.  Raspberry jam will do in a pinch if you are starving and there is no strawberry jam within 10 square miles

Yeah - luckily "J" can now apply to jam as well as jelly.  We're in the same boat as we buy jam from Trader Joes (reduced sugar apricot, strawberry, or raspberry), so my PB&Js are mostly jams these days.

I will say that toast with butter and then peanut butter is quite tasty.

My favorite breakfast. You could even add bacon to that.

My jam of choice is peach followed by apricot. In a pinch marmalade.

My grandfather added thin sliced fried liver to PB sandwiches.  My grandmother added a slice of onion.   Clearly, they preferred savoury.
