Popular Post Zephyr Posted August 22, 2021 Popular Post Share #1 Posted August 22, 2021 You people are all amazing!! 903 miles! Thanks to everyone who got out yesterday and put in some miles. I am so pleased that it got the turnout it did and maybe even got a few people out on their bikes that would not have rode otherwise. I did not get home until late yesterday so no miles for me, but JUST WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR! 9 4
Airehead Posted August 22, 2021 Share #2 Posted August 22, 2021 But wait. If you had a conflict Saturday you could ride Sunday. Get out there.
MoseySusan Posted August 22, 2021 Share #3 Posted August 22, 2021 Domestique brings in the stragglers on group rides. Sweep us up?
TrentonMakes Posted August 22, 2021 Share #4 Posted August 22, 2021 Thanks for issuing the challenge... it was fun to ride knowing it was a part of something bigger. If it wasn't the last weekend before our daughter goes to college I'd have put in more miles. (My second round was with the kids).

Or, do you still have kiddos at home?
Rattlecan ★ Posted August 22, 2021 Share #6 Posted August 22, 2021 Okay lame excuse to follow. We are camping in one of our fabulous Provincial parks and the bike I brought is not equipped with a computer. not that I would have had much to contribute anyway, maybe a mile or two riding around the park.

Yes. This amazed me too. I guess I was wrong about the 1K being too ambitious for our little group. It was just about perfect. 3

I use an app called Cyclemeter all I have to do is push the start button and carry the phone. It tracks miles speed and elevation

Longjohn ★ Posted August 22, 2021 Share #10 Posted August 22, 2021 I had fun taking it easy. I didn’t realize there was any place in my area for an easy rider. 2
