Added water at the produce section is a pet peeve of mine.  One reason I vastly prefer the cheap froot and veggie place to a conventional grocery store.  And I vastly prefer real carrots to these "baby carrot" monstrosities.

I don't care.  I like baby carrots.  I chop the up even smaller for all sorts of dishes and they don't need to be peeled.  Use them fresh.

I bought them for a while, seemed like a very convenient way to go. But they didn't keep well, didn't taste like tender young carrots, and just didn't appeal to me. Went back to buying full sized carrots, you can look at them and see for yourself what kind of shape they are in, they keep well, and are much cheaper than the baby carrots.
