You need a rack or maybe one of those "hang from the ceiling" contraptions! How much "stretch" do you need. An inch? A foot? A yard?

Parr8hed Posted September 15, 2021 Share #7 Posted September 15, 2021 One of the pitcher's on Em's team is about 6'2". She is 13. It's kinda crazy to see her standing with all of these other girls that are abnormally tall and muscular for their ages. She is a head taller than any of them! Her dad is 6'9". I am going Kayaking with him tomorrow. He is a great guy, played college basketball. It is kinda funny to talk to him about being so tall. He is very humble about sports, athletic ability, all of that stuff. I look way up to him when I have to talk to him. It is funny to see him in a kayak. 1 1
Road Runner Posted September 15, 2021 Share #8 Posted September 15, 2021 Growing up, I was always taller than most of the kids my age. I heard all of the "tall" comments at one time or another. But I didn't mind it. Being tall was one of the few things I had going for me. 1

Really tall people have to get used to being funny to see. Sort of tall people also feel some humility. Notice how many tall women slouch forward. I saw a picture of me in a ten foot kayak and it did look funny. I had to remove the adjustable foot pegs in all my kayaks because they didn’t adjust long enough for me and were in my way.
MickinMD ★ Posted September 15, 2021 Share #12 Posted September 15, 2021 I made the varsity basketball team my junior year in high school, more for being over 6' tall than because of skill. I sat on the bench almost all season. I grew to 6' 2 5/8", leveled off, then slowly began shrinking. I'm about 6' 2" now.

My son was an early bloomer and was 5’10” in 8th grade. Not as tall as the girl Em plays with but he did tower over the other kids on his team. He was a varsity baseball player his freshman year and was one of the taller kids on the team already.

Mr. Beanz Posted September 15, 2021 Share #18 Posted September 15, 2021 Not that tall, 6'1 but people I meet would swear I am 6'3. My 15 year old grandson is 6'6 already! But at 250, I'm still a Fat Bastard. Gina is a shorty. She was 5'4 and now she's 5'3. But I love short women.
