DSDA were contacted a few days ago about two pups found abandoned in a culvert in a rural area near Kauffman. Their Guardian Angel reports that dogs are dumped out there "all the time" and she's constantly finding them and hoping to place them with organizations like ours. It's really heartbreaking to think these two 7 week old babies were left on purpose to suffer the elements of starvation, being eaten alive by wildlife or hit by an unsuspecting car passing by. "Autumn" and "Leif" are now safe and sound with DSDA. What makes this possible? Fosters who say "YES" and donors like you who help with their expenses until adopted.
