shootingstar Posted October 11, 2021 Share #1 Posted October 11, 2021 https://thewalrus.ca/what-do-you-do-with-a-billion-grams-of-surplus-weed/ I want to believe that Canadian produces of cannabis are actually throwing away ton of this stuff. Probably for the stuff that has degraded. But other stuff....? Anyway, I knew some folks at work wanted to invest in a weed stock or 2. But now those firms are struggling. When I heard them, I thought my colleagues were incredibly naive..but I'm biased with several family members as health care professionals. I actually seriously wonder if the producers and retailers even bothered to think just realistically how many people would want to smoke/ ingest it anyway on a regular basis (how else would you get sales?) and for whatever sicknesses/illnesses. After all, it's been medically shown not good for children to even try a little. Canadian doctors in medical school and Canadian pharmacists in their university formal programs, aren't even taught about use of it. So hence, where would the uptake be? Ok, I get it. Something like liquor. Take a little occasionally and not often.
