The visible damage was the door and fender, but the headlight was a mess too. That's why it's out. Hopefully they can simply replace headlight parts as a new assembly is close to 2 grand - either way the insurance covers it. 1

Kirby Posted October 14, 2021 Share #12 Posted October 14, 2021 Sad to see the damage, but that's a good visual reminder that we're happy it was only property damage and that you weren't hurt!

groupw Posted October 14, 2021 Share #19 Posted October 14, 2021 A redneck BMW! Not only jeeps, but we are starting to see Pickups and SUVs with the doors off around here as well. Apparently you don't wear seatbelts when the doors are off, either. Go figure...

jsharr ★ Posted October 14, 2021 Share #27 Posted October 14, 2021 Hopefully parts are available. Big issue these days. It is a two week wait to get Ryan's car in for service, so it is parked on our driveway for the forseeable future.

It never really ends. My mom still rants about my dad - 35 years later and even after he is dead. Crazy stuff - love and marriage. But the financial stuff - at least child support and things like college expenses or health insurance coverage - should end. Alimony? Probably not. Dang, that is a big backlog of cases. One of you might die before then.
maddmaxx ★ Posted October 14, 2021 Share #31 Posted October 14, 2021 I read somewhere that after 15 years it's considered permissible to tell the ex she was lousy in bed without any legal repercussions.
