My sister's dog has cancer

Cancer isn't always an "immediate" death sentence in a dog/cat. Maybe it is slow moving? Maybe it isn't the truly deadly kind - ie other stuff gets to them first?

Hoping for the best, but man, pets don't live long enough :(

Ok..I'm  going to hell..I forgot about Rags or Raggs...the dog she got after Shadow but before Misty...oh well..just talked to her..I will probably send her the book I sent to Aire and Cheese...

She did say she won't  let her suffer.

If that’s all it takes… :o
No worries. You’re there for your sister. Poor doggie, though. What kind of cancer? My SiL let their dog suffer a huge tumor on her neck because she didn’t want to pay to have it removed, but the kids couldn’t bear to let the dog go, yet. The poor dog was clearly not comfortable. Had limited quality of life. It was hard to watch. Your sister has perspective, though. Misty is in good hands.
